Three's Company....

You know we have a soft spot for puppies- and when it comes to Frenchie puppies, we can't get much more excited for a puppy session!!  These three cuties are the puppies of a lineage of French Bulldog award winning champions (remember Zed?  click here to view our past blog post on Zed:  http://miroslavichphotography.blogspot.com/2009/12/introducing-one-onlyzed.html )  The two brindle (dark puppies) and the one fawn (blondie puppy) came to us at 11 weeks old just prior to being sent to their new owners across the United States. As you can see, they wore themselves out playing in the studio.   Our wooden bowl was very intriguing and provided constant entertainment for the first 3/4 of the session.  And then, just like puppies, they crashed hard and were fast asleep in and out of the bowl!!  We hope they are all settling well into their new homes!

Circus Camp! A summer spectacular treat!

It was time for Circus Juventas camp again this summer and both of my daughters with friends joined the fun this year! What a camp. The final camp performance was spectacular again this year. The kids work so hard. We had a triangle trapeze, mini tramp, flying trapeze, and spanish web. It was high flying fun! The girls are already talking about what they are going to perform next year. The Circus Juventas summer performance "Showdown" is just around the corner. If you have the opportunity - go! It's one of the best circus schools for kids in the country and the talent is amazing. Minnesota Baby Spring Photo contest winner!!!

Meet Piper!!  Sweet, 7 month old Piper was the winner of Minnesota Baby's Spring Photo Contest! There were tons of entries and Piper was chosen from among the top three entries with the most votes!!  It was a super tough decision but ultimately we felt that the photo that Piper's mom, Lily, submitted of Piper bundled up in spring colors most reflected spring in Minnesota!

Last month Piper came into the studio for her photo session with us!! She loved dressing up in the outfits that her mom brought with them!  I think Piper is going to be a girl who likes hats!!  Piper also may be one of the easiest babies we have photographed!  All you have to do to get her to smile is look at her and she will break out in the biggest grin you have ever seen!!  Piper's mom was thrilled with the images and I know she is going to cherish the ones she chose! It was a pleasure meeting Piper, her mom and grandma!

Family Together

A recent high school graduation brought this extended family together for a weekend so what better time than to have a multi-generational family portrait?!  Melodee's daughter, Emily, graduated from high school and before all of the festivities got under way, we met at a local park on a beautiful summer afternoon with all of the cousins, aunt, uncle and grandparents. It was so special to have the whole family together and witness the various relationships, be a part of their excitement and laughter, and celebrate such a wonderful milestone for them. We are thrilled that they will have these memories that will last a lifetime.

Ted

Sweet Ted.  Ted's owner, Sally, saw Melissa on Twin Cities Live one night when they were re-broadcasting a segment that featured Miroslavich Photography.  We are so glad that Sally couldn't sleep that night and caught our segment!  We are delighted to have met both Sally and her Ted.  Ted truly is a sweet, lovely pet.  He has eyes that are all knowing and so kind looking.  We also loved all of his darling curls.  We know Sally will cherish these images forever. 

And our new studio location is.....

the Crossroads Commerce Center at  700 Commerce Drive in Woodbury, Minnesota!  We are so excited to have more space in the studio to continue to create beautiful artwork for our clients-not to mention so many beautiful outdoor locations right out of our front door!  Besides the super easy parking out front, our new space has so many cool new features that we will be sharing with you over the next few weeks as our space gets built.  We have been meeting with the designer and can hardly wait til we open.  We will keep you posted on our plans but for now, we will be in the new space by early September.  Whew-it's going to be a busy summer, that's for sure!!  Stay tuned!!!!
